Body-Solid Endurance Elliptical Trainer - E400
The Endurance by Body-Solid E400 Elliptical Trainer is built with a patented center drive design and a low center of gravity providing a smooth and quiet cardio workout. The E400 Elliptical has an adjustable 17”-21” stride to ensure the best fit for all users. Dual-action upper and lower body movements provide a total body workout. Fully adjustable with 20 levels of resistance, the E400 Elliptical also features a wireless HRC (heart-rate control) with a chest strap that keeps users in their target zones.
The Endurance by Body-Solid E400 Elliptical Trainer is programmable with six preset programs, five heart-rate programs, manual mode, and two user profiles. The center drive design provides a more compact and stable platform than front or rear-drive ellipticals without compromising biomechanics. The Endurance by Body-Solid E400 will fit into rooms and homes other machines cannot.
Additional features include a 300 lb. weight capacity, a low step-up height of just 8”, an interactive LED display, transport handles for movement, and a water bottle holder. The Endurance by Body-Solid E400 Elliptical Trainer is backed by a strong 5-year in-home warranty, including 1 year of in-home labor.
PROGRAM MODES
- The E400 offers various program modes including a Quick-Start Mode, 6 Preset Program Modes, 5 HRC (Heart Rate Control) Programs, and two User Profile Modes.
- MOUNTAIN
- This program takes the user gradually up to a high resistance level, then brings the resistance level back down to the starting point. This program simulates what one might encounter on a true mountain course. This is a difficult program since higher tension levels are maintained for long periods of time.
- HILL
- This program takes the user through two hill profiles. Resistance changes are small during this program. This is a good program to get started with or for someone looking for a lower-stress workout.
- RANDOM
- This program randomly generates a new program profile every time it is chosen. This allows you to keep the workouts fresh and motivating. When you scroll thru the programs to reach the RANDOM program, you will be able to see the program profile. If this profile is not to your liking, simply scroll thru the programs again and a new RANDOM program will be generated. The RANDOM program will be different every time you use it.
- INTERVAL
- This program simulates interval training thru a series of two hill profiles.
- INTERVAL MOUNTAIN
- This program simulates interval training thru a difficult mountain profile.
- INTERVAL SPEED TRAINING
- This program simulates interval training with more extreme levels of high and low-intensity levels.
- HEART RATE PROGRAMS
- The 5 Heart rate control programs are designed to automatically change resistance to keep your heart rate at a predetermined level based on the selected Heart Rate program. Each Heart Rate program is designed with a specific goal in mind. The E400 includes a Heart Rate Chest Strap for wireless monitoring.
- TWO USER PROFILES:
- User Profiles U1 and U2 allow you to customize and save an exercise session.
HEART RATE CONTROL
- The E400 comes equipped with Heart Rate Contacts as well as a Heart Rate Control Chest Strap for use with the 5 HRC Programs. The Heart Rate Control Strap sends your heart rate information to the console for processing. Heart rate control programs are designed to automatically change resistance to keep your heart rate at a predetermined level based on the selected Heart Rate program. Each Heart Rate program is designed with a specific goal in mind.
- % TARGET HEART RATE
- % Target Heart Rate allows the user to select a percentage of the Maximum Heart Rate that would like to be maintained during the exercise session. The percentage range can be varied from 50% to 85%.
- HR 80% (CARDIO)
- HR 80% maintains the Target Heart Rate at 80% of the Maximum Heart Rate by automatically adjusting resistance levels. This program provides a high-intensity, cardiovascular workout.
- HR 65% (FAT BURN )
- HR 65% maintains the Target Heart Rate at 65% of the Maximum Heart Rate by automatically adjusting the resistance levels. This program provides the ultimate fat-burning workout.
- HR HILL (65-75-85%)
- HR Hill simulates hill training by changing the Target Heart Rate thru 3 different percentages. The changes will occur as follows: 65% - 75% - 85% - 75% - 65% -75% - 85% etc. Each percentage will be held for 3 minutes before changing to the next percentage.
- HR INT (HILL INTERVRVAL)
- The HR INTERVAL program alternates between 65% and 85% of your Max HR. This program provides an excellent fat-burn and cardiovascular workout. Each percentage will be held for 4 minutes before alternating to the next percentage.
The most common method for calculating your target heart rate is to find your maximum heart rate.
The standard formula for this is:
- 220 - your age = Maximum Heart Rate
- You DO NOT want to work out at your maximum heart rate.
- You want to work out in your target heart rate zone.
- Your target heart rate zone is a percentage of your maximum heart rate.
- The American Heart Association recommends working out at a target heart rate zone of between 60% - 75% of your maximum heart rate.

- The E400 features a 2-window, color LED Display with easy-to-use funtional buttons and program controls.
- MESSAGE WINDOW
- The MESSAGE WINDOW displays Program Names, Messages, TIME, DISTANCE, SPEED, STRIDE/MIN, CALORIES, PULSE, RESISTANCE LEVEL and CALORIE/HOUR.
- PROFILE WINDOW
- This 10 X 14 LED Profile Window displays Program Profile, Tension (Resistance) Bar, Heart Rate Bar (HR Programs only), Lap Progress Display and Lap Counter. The Profile Window toggles between program profile (displayed for 10 seconds in window) and lap counter (displayed for 30 seconds in window), except in Heart Rate Programs.

Warranty Agreement
This Warranty applies only in the United States to Cardio products manufactured or distributed by Body-Solid under the Endurance by Body-Solid brand name.
ENDURANCE by Body-Solid warrants the In-Home Warranty as follows:
- LIFETIME on Frame
- 5 YEARS on Parts
- 2 YEARS in Electronics
- 1 YEAR on Labor
- 6 MONTHS on Wear items (seat, brake pad, etc.)
This Limited Express Warranty applies only in the United States to products manufactured or distributed by Body-Solid, Inc. ("Body-Solid") under the ENDURANCE by Body-Solid brand name (hereinafter referred to as “Product”).
Body-Solid warrants that the Product you have purchased for in-home use from Body-Solid or from an authorized Body-Solid reseller is free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.
Your sales receipt, showing the date of purchase of the Product, is your proof of the date of purchase.
This warranty extends only to you, the original purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases the Product from you.
It excludes expendable parts such as paint and finishes.
This Warranty becomes VALID ONLY if the Product is assembled/installed according to the instructions/directions included with the Product.
What Is Covered? During the warranty period, Body-Solid will, in its sole discretion, at no additional charge, provide the exclusive remedy of repair or replacement of the Product if it becomes materially defective, malfunctions, or otherwise fails to conform with this limited warranty under normal non-commercial, personal, family, or household use. In repairing the Product, Body-Solid may replace defective parts with new or, at Body-Solid's sole discretion, serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance.
All exchanged parts and Products replaced under this limited warranty will become the property of BodySolid. Body-Solid reserves the right to change manufacturers of any part to cover any existing warranty. For Products sold for commercial use, the Products are sold "AS IS" without any warranty.
How Long Coverage Lasts. Body-Solid warrants that the Product you have purchased for non-commercial, personal, family, or household use from Body-Solid or from an authorized ENDURANCE by Body-Solid dealer will be free from any material defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period from the date of purchase. Your sales receipt, showing the date of purchase of the Product, shall constitute proof of the date of purchase.
Important Additional Terms and Restrictions. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases the Product. It excludes expendable parts such as paint and finishes. It does not cover labor charges for floor models and demonstration units. Body-Solid compensates authorized ENDURANCE by Body-Solid dealers for warranty trips within their normal service area to make repairs at the customer’s location. You may be charged a travel charge outside the normal service area.
While necessary maintenance or repairs of the Product can be performed by any company, we recommend that you use only Body-Solid or an authorized ENDURANCE by a Body-Solid dealer for best results. Improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repair voids this warranty. Body-Solid neither assumes nor authorizes any third party to assume for it any other warranty.
This warranty is void under the following conditions: if the Product is not assembled/installed according to the instructions/directions included with the Product; if proof-of-purchase documentation or Product serial number is altered or forged; if the Product is used in a commercial, institutional or another public access environment; if the Product was not purchased from Body-Solid or from an authorized ENDURANCE by Body-Solid dealer. This warranty does not extend to any Product that has been damaged or rendered defective: (a) as a result of accident, misuse, or abuse; (b) by the use of parts not manufactured or sold by Body-Solid; (c) by modification of the Product; (d) as a result of improper or incorrectly performed service or repair by anyone other than Body-Solid or an authorized ENDURANCE by Body-Solid dealer or an authorized ENDURANCE by Body-Solid warranty service provider; (e) as a result of failure to provide reasonable and necessary care as outlined in the owner's manual for the Product. Should any Product submitted for warranty service or replacement be found to be ineligible, an estimate of repair cost will be furnished and the repair will be made if requested by you upon Body-Solid's receipt of payment or acceptable arrangement of payment.
How to Redeem this Warranty. To redeem this warranty, you must call Body-Solid at 1-800-5563113 to obtain a Return Authorization Number. You then must return the Product, together with the Return Authorization Number and the sales receipt, in its original container (or equivalent) to the following address: Body-Solid, Inc., Attn: ENDURANCE by Body-Solid Warranty Dept., 1900 S. Des Plaines Ave., Forest Park, IL 60130. You must pre-pay any shipping charges, export taxes, customs duties and taxes, insurance, and any other charges associated with the transportation of the Product.
Body-Solid will not accept any Product returned on a freight collect basis or outside of Body-Solid's normal business hours. You are responsible for insuring any Product is shipped or returned. You assume the risk of loss during shipment or return.
How State Law Applies. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
THIS IS THE ONLY WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO ENDURANCE by Body-Solid BRANDED PRODUCTS. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BODY-SOLID DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE BEYOND THE ONE (1) YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
NEITHER BODY-SOLID NOR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, OR ANY OTHER ECONOMIC DAMAGES ARISING IN TORT OR CONTRACT, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY CLAIMS. BODY SOLID'S AND ITS AFFILIATES' ENTIRE LIABILITY IN THE AGGREGATE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.

Returns
Your online shopping experience should be fun and easy, so don't be afraid to try some new things! If an item arrives broken or damaged, return it for a full refund within 30 days of your delivery date in its original condition and packaging. For an item to be eligible for a return, it must be unused and in the condition you received it in.

Missing Parts?
If for some reason your order arrives and is missing parts, please contact us immediately at 646-921-5221 and we will send out a replacement order for your missing part(s) immediately.
Shipping
PeakFlowFitness will not cover the cost of return shipping. Shipping costs are non-refundable and are the responsibility of the customer, unless there was an error on our part. You will always have the option to request a return label and one will be provided for all your orders, but please note the cost of the return label can be deducted from your refund.

To begin a return, please include a receipt or any other proof of purchase in your email. In addition, label the subject line of your message "RETURN - ORDER #" so we can work on your return right away.
It is also very important you state the reason for your return as well as any evidence of the product that may be needed in the return process, such as pictures or videos.
We asked that you contact us first and file a return so we can properly track the items before you return items to the manufacturer.
We use a warehouse to handle our returns. If a product was returned and we were not contacted about the return, it cannot be verified, therefore, there will be no refund. NO EXCEPTIONS! We ask that you please reach out to us and submit a return claim.
There are situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Books with obvious signs of use or wear and tear.
CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that have been opened or used.
Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing pieces for reasons not due to our error.
I PROVIDED THE WRONG ADDRESS
If you provided us with an incorrect address, or have misspelled information please do not worry. Simply reply to the order confirmation email you received and send us the correct information. We do ask that you notify us immediately via 646-921-5221. It is important that any mistakes made are corrected within 24 hours, before the item is shipped out.
ITEM IS DAMAGED UPON ARRIVAL
We pride ourselves on taking care of each order that is sent out to our customers. However, accidents still do occur due to postal service mistreatment. Please follow these instructions if your item arrived damaged:

Once your item is reviewed and processed, we will issue you a replacement item sent to you free-of-charge. In some cases we may also provide a shipping label to return the damaged item. If no label is provided, feel free to keep the item.

If for some reason you are unsatisfied with your order and want to exchange it for a different make or model, please email us at support@peakflowfitness.com and we will issue a return label. The new product will then be shipped out in 1-2 business days.
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
Of course! You can cancel an order with no penalties. We do ask that you cancel your order within 24 hours of creating it or the cancellation may not be applied. If the item has already been shipped, please email support@peakflowfitness.com. Please send us an email with the subject line “CANCEL". We can cancel any orders that are not processed. Please reach out to us as soon as possible if you do decide to change your mind. Once an order is processed, there cannot be any cancellations. All cancellations are subject to a credit card CC fee of 3.5%.
Refunds (if applicable)
All refunds, unless otherwise specified, must be sent to the return address specified below.
Once your return item reaches our warehouse and has been inspected and reviewed, your refund / return will then be verified. It usually takes 1 business day from when your package arrived for us to finalize your return. Once approved, your refund amount will be processed back to your original payment method. Please also note that it may take up to 5-10 business days for the refund to appear back in your account after we have processed it in our system.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If your refund has yet to be refunded to your original payment, please don't worry. First, we ask that you check with your bank account to see if the refund transaction is pending. A lot of times your bank or payment provider may have a processing time for refunds, so please allow 5-10 business days after we have refunded you on our system for it to appear in your payment method. We will always be happy to walk you through every step of the way!
