Leg Press Machines
Leg press machines — 45-degree, vertical, seated, and hip sled designs for serious lower-body training. Plate-loaded and selectorized models from residential to heavy commercial spec.
We carry leg press machines from Body Solid (Pro Club commercial + Powerline residential), Muscle D Fitness (commercial heavy-duty), and supporting brands. The leg press is the foundation of most serious leg training programs — choose the right design for your space and training intensity.
Choose by leg press type:
- 45-degree leg press — most common design; angled platform, sled rides on rails. Excellent for heavy quad-focused training. Plate capacity 700–1,200 lb.
- Vertical leg press — supine position, gravity-resistance plates load on straight rail. Compact footprint. Lower max weight (~500 lb).
- Seated leg press — chest-pad seated design, foot platform pushes away. Easier on lower back, good for multi-user gyms.
- Hip sled — variation of 45-degree with deeper hip-extension range
- Combo leg press + hack squat — single station does both movements (saves space and cost)
Specs that matter:
- Plate capacity — verify max weight matches your training (serious lifters need 1,000+ lb capacity)
- Foot platform size — larger platform accommodates wider stance training
- Safety stops — multiple lock-out positions essential for solo training
- Frame gauge — 11-gauge for residential, 7-gauge for commercial
- Footprint — 45-degree leg press needs 7-9 ft length and 4 ft width
Free shipping on orders over $999, exclusions apply (leg press machines ship freight).
