Basketball Wall Mounted Backboard

Wall-mounted basketball backboards — for school gymnasiums, recreation centers, and serious garage/driveway installations where in-ground or portable systems aren't ideal.

We carry wall-mounted backboard systems from First Team and Gared Sports — the standard for institutional gymnasium use. Wall-mount installations are more permanent than portable systems and save the floor space of in-ground installations.

Choose by installation level:

• Garage / residential — 60-72" polycarbonate or tempered glass backboard, fixed-arm wall-mount
• Recreation center — 72" tempered glass with breakaway rim, extension-arm wall-mount
• HS / college gymnasium — 72" tempered glass competition-spec, side-fold arms for multi-court setups
• Practice gym — secondary practice backboards, often 60" polycarbonate, fixed arms

Specs that matter:

• Backboard size — 60" residential, 72" rec/HS, 72"+ tempered glass for HS+ competition
• Backboard material — acrylic (entry), polycarbonate (mid), tempered glass (premium/competition)
• Extension arm length — 4', 6', 8', or 10' from wall to backboard face
• Rim type — fixed (entry), spring-loaded breakaway (recommended for any dunking)
• Mounting — must verify wall framing supports the system; some require structural reinforcement
